BACKGROUND

Let Go Wellness Centre was established in 1993 and started out in a two room rental space on Church Street in Kingston .

The name ‘Let Go’, came from the many references to the process of surrender, in the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment. It also co-incidentally related to the many levels of ‘Let Go’ which occur when mindfully delivered therapies enhance the meaningful and profound communication between practitioner and client.

In 1993, the then, Let Go Massage & Hydrotherapy Centre was birthed and operated solely by Sahaj Sinfield, a registered nurse and newly registered massage therapist.

Sahaj’s goal was to offer complementary healing modalities with a client centered, meditative approach.

With the need for a larger space, not only did the Centre change locations, but it’s name to reflect the expansion of offerings which included other complementary modalities.

Let Go Massage and Hydrotherapy Centre became Let Go Wellness Centre and Sahaj Sinfield was joined by her partner Lizette Lacoursiere. Lizette brought to the Centre, her passion and intrigue for technology.

One of the first additions was the ‘state of the art’ VibraSound Wave Table from California , followed by the Zapper, Live Blood Cell Analysis, Beam Tube, EAV testing, to the inclusion today of the QXCI and Scenar.

Lizette uses these technologies to ‘tease out’ the answers to the challenges brought by clients in their effort to explore, understand and resolve them.

Let Go Wellness Centre was making it’s mark in Kingston . Respected by it’s growing family of clients, it offered massage therapy, nutritional consultation, acupuncture and ongoing educational seminars.

As the vision for Let Go Wellness Centre grew, Lizette and Sahaj recognized the important trends in holistic health care and desired a location to develop a ‘one-stop’ shop for holistic health services and products in a high growth area of Kingston . After two years of searching, an appropriate location was selected at 633 Norris Court . The new location ( October 4, 2004 ) can accommodate a larger and more diverse client base. The proximity to major highways is convenient for out of town clients, attracting people to the Kingston area for holistic specialty treatments, products and services.

Our 2300 sq ft commercial wheelchair accessible space has been renovated to suit our needs, as we accommodate other practitioners, products and services as Kingston ’s Most Complete Holistic Health Centre.

The company’s goal is to provide a safe, professional, sanctuary for healing with caring therapists and staff who recognize the importance and desire to provide consistent, committed, honest, compassionate therapy, service and education.

Not only do we provide state of the art equipment for therapeutic evaluation and practitioner line products but also nutritional supplements, herbs and locally grown naturally raised foods.

We have created a multi-disciplinary centre. All therapists at Let Go Wellness Centre are professionally trained and carry professional malpractice / liability insurance. They are dedicated to helping those who see them, to live the life they love longer and healthier!

Located inside of Let Go Wellness Centre is Be Now Natural Foods and Supplements which opened November 2006. It offers quality nutritional supplements and foods, staffed by our own knowledegable Natural Medicine Practitioners. The store is easy to navigate and is a complement to the ambiance of "Let Go".
